Okay, this is terrible to admit, but I’m really bothered about this and I need other people’s opinions and stuff. It may make things better.
My “first time” happened a while back. It happened once with a friend of mine (we were just kinda fooling around), and it turns out that friend of mine had chlamydia. Chlamydia, for those of you who may not know, is a bacterial infection caused – of course – from not too clean situations.
Well, this person told me about what they had, and I got treated for it. The doctor gave me immensely strong antibiotics that were supposed to get rid of it completely. Well, here’s the issue..
Three days after I took the meds, “things” happened between me and my significant other. At the time, I wasn’t thinking about waiting a week after taking the medicine, and things happened so quickly. What is the possibility that the antibiotics haven’t taken full effect in three days, and my partner has chlamydia now also? It’s really bothering me. “/
And if you couldn’t guess, it was unprotected. >.< I know, stupid of me. But I know I made a mistake there. Don’t rag on me about it, please.
My partner already knows about this, but isn’t worried. They believe that three days was plenty for the antibiotic to take effect. But myself, I’m not so sure.
To clear this up, I didn’t cheat. My “first time” was maybe 6-7 months BEFORE I even began dating my current significant other.
My significant other KNEW about what had happened, and expressed their lack of concern because they believe that three days was plenty for it to take effect.
Okay, here’s a bit more of a thorough explanation:
I had intercourse with a friend of mine several months ago – nothing relationship wise, it just kinda happened. About a month or two ago, that friend of mine told me they had chlamydia, and told me I should get tested. About a week before the friend told me, I started dating this person I had been talking to for about two months. Well, I got treated – the treatment was two antibiotic pills the doctor gave me on the spot, no more. The doctor told me to wait a week before any intercourse or anything like that took place.
Well, me and my newfound significant other had messed around – not intercourse, but foreplay I guess you could say. This happened three days after the two pills had been given to me. My partner was well aware of what had happened, because I told them, and they were not bothered by it because they believe that three days would have been plenty for the pills to have taken effect.
It was just two pills – no more.
